About Me

My name is Morgan Nichols. I have been practicing yoga for eleven years and teaching for seven years in various venues such as gyms, yoga centres, in people’s homes and from my own home. I trained as a Kundalini Yoga Instructor with the Amrit Nam Sarovar school in London and France, 2005-2007. Since 2005 I have been registered with KYTA, the governing body for regulating Kundalini Yoga Instructors.

I am part of Kundalini Yoga Sussex, a network of Sussex-based Kundalini Yoga teachers (www.kundaliniyogasussex.co.uk). I am continually inspired by this practice of dynamic movement, meditation, and mantra to expand beyond my limits and experience my full capacity as a human being.

I have trained in Reiki, Reflexology, Body Alignment and Crystal Therapy, and have a postgraduate degree in Psychology as well as Counselling training and experience. I have been fascinated by personal development and spirituality from a very young age. My yoga practice began with Hatha Yoga in 2001, and when I discovered Kundalini Yoga in 2004 I soon started to move deeply into this practice, which has had a profoundly positive effect on my life. As a mother practicing Kundalini Yoga had a profound effect on my pregnancy and birth experience.

My background in psychology, counselling, and various holistic therapies all inform my work. My primary inspiration comes from this inspiring lineage of teachers and the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, who brought Kundalini Yoga to the West.
